COPPER-CONTAINING RAW MATERIAL

CJSC "FOSFOHIM" to ensure a continuous production process, constantly purchases copper-containing raw materials on the basis of the License for the procurement, storage, processing and sale of non-ferrous metal scrap No. 780 issued by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Samara Region in 12.05.2020.

Our company also provides services to external organizations for processing copper-containing raw materials into finished products. To ensure the above-mentioned activities, "FOSFOHIM" CJSC has a professional staff that has been trained and has extensive work experience, which makes it possible to carry out high-quality sorting, cutting and packaging of copper raw materials. The site is equipped with platform scales and automobile (for control weighing) and allows to accept goods supplied both by road transport and railway containers (container ships).

To determine the composition of copper-containing raw materials, CJSC "FOSFOHIM" has a certified "Laboratory of Spectral Analysis and General Chemistry" which quickly detects chemical composition of incoming copper-containing raw material and assigns copper scrap grade. The basis of the laboratory is the SPECTROLAB atomic emission spectrometer, a LAB LAVM11 model undergoing an annual technical examination.

М1 (BARE BRIGHT, BARLEY, BERRY)

Scrap and copper waste in the form of current conductors, copper wire (electrical waste), clean, without coating, containing no non-metallic impurities of other non-ferrous or ferrous metals, without traces of moisture and oil, previously sorted by types and sizes by the supplier. Electrical bus bar without attachments, without coating, without traces of tinning, partially oxidized and/or burned without signs of burnout (brittle) and ash residue, without traces of oil or moisture, without presence of insulation residues pre-sorted by the supplier by types and sizes. Upon additional agreement, scrap and copper wastes in the form of current conductors with traces of oil with installation of additional clogging are allowed.

М2 (BIRCH)

Scrap and wastes of copper in the form of current conductors, copper wire without coating and traces of tinning, partially oxidized and/or burned without signs of burnout (brittle), without the presence of ash residue, oil and other foreign contamination, with a diameter of at least 0.5 mm. The chemical composition should correspond to the copper measure no worse than М2.

М3 (CLIFF)

Scrap and waste of pure copper without coating, half-water and soldering (copper stuffing, scrap of cast, forged, stamped products, cutting, carving, sheets, bars, tapes, pipes, grids without insulation), completely or partially oxidized, containing no non-metallic impurities of other non-ferrous or ferrous metals, without traces of moisture or oil. The chemical composition should correspond to the grade of copper no worse than М3. During acceptance of copper of this group with half-water and soldering, an additional clogging of 1% is installed for this volume.

М4 (BIRCH/ CLIFF)

Scrap and copper waste mixed with half-water and soldering, enameled and lacquered wire, in the form of cutting or current conductors completely or partially oxidized, unsorted in types and sizes, not containing non-metallic impurities, other non-ferrous or ferrous metals, without moisture. The chemical composition should correspond to the grade of copper no worse than М3. When supplying scrap and copper waste of group М4, it is allowed to deliver in the volume of not more than 10% of the lot (machine) with the installation of additional clogging 6% of split gas columns, with the installation of additional clogging 12% of tinned gas columns. For deliveries of scrap and copper wastes of the group М4 with content of half, soldering, tinned, enameled and lacquered wires more than 15% in one place (big bag), for this scrap and waste additional clogging is installed (up to 3.2%), or this batch (this big bag) is not accepted for delivery.
Copper radiators are not received.

М6 (BIRCH)

Scrap and copper waste in the form of copper enameled, lacquered wire without traces of additional insulation, which does not contain other ferrous and non-ferrous metals, with a diameter of at least 0.5 mm. The chemical composition should correspond to the grade of copper no worse than М2.

М7(2) (CLOVE)

Chipped scrap (crumbs) made of bare tinned and non-tinned copper, granules containing no non-metallic impurities, other non-ferrous or ferrous metals, without moisture, without insulation residues, supplied only in big bags, the chemical composition must correspond to the grade of copper М2.

М7(3) (COCOA)

М8(2) (TURNINGS)

Scrap in the form of shaving, not containing non-metallic impurities, other non-ferrous or ferrous metals, without moisture, without isolation remains, delivered only in big bags, the chemical composition has to correspond to M2 copper grade.
